Session:   The Power of Simplicity in Landscape Design

Thursday, August 5  3:00 PM - 4:00 PM .... CEU: TNLA 1

With a wealth of plants and hardscape materials, designers are tempted to fill landscapes with a few of each—risking busyness, disorder and excessive maintenance. The best designed landscapes often simplify the view and the space. This presentation will explore how to reach simplicity, attaining designs that remain strong over the long term. Discussions will include techniques to apply to plant and material selection. Case studies will show how design principles are applied in practice.
